Founded in 1826 the distillery burned down twice in 1879 & 1898 and has sat in its current location since. Surround by the dramatic Highland scenery of Ben Rinnes, the village of Aberlour sits in the heart of Speyside, where the Lour burn joins the River Spey and this fantastic whiskey is created. The Alba rest the entire time in ex bourbon barrels. No sherry this time! Look for tropical fruit notes, coconut, vanilla and baking spices in this cask strength Scotch.
