Dulce Vida uses organic agaves from Los Altos (Highlands) near Nayarit. The piñas are autoclaved (cooked using a pressure cooker) for 20 hours after which they are crushed and shredded. The fibers are separated from the aguamiel (honey water) which is then fermented with proprietary yeast. The blanco tequila is triple-distilled, is unaged, and is bottled at 100 proof.

Dulce Vida 100 Proof Organic Blanco Tequila Tasting Notes

Nose: The nose tickles with white pepper heat, a slight sweetness and grassy-agave vegetal aromas.

Palate: The sweet heat continues to the palate where it’s joined by a reprise of the agave with a hint of minty citrus, all of which continue on the finish.

Finish: A spicy flavor and a sweet agave finish.
