T&A McClelland’s was established in 1818 as a whisky blending and export company. Morrison Bowmore began producing this range of single malt whiskies in its memory, with each expression created to represent a different Scotch region with its classic characteristics. This one represents the Highland region, which are known for their predominantly peaty/smoky/briny/rich characteristics.
McClelland’s Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes
Nose: Hints of cinnamon and hazelnut.
Palate: There is some toffee and caramel, but the floral scents overwhelm the golden fruits trying to elbow their way in on the palate.
Finish: Finish is long.

Bowmore is a distillery that produces scotch whisky on the isle of Islay, an island of the Inner Hebrides.The distillery, which lies on the South Eastern shore of Loch Indaal, is one of the oldest in Scotland and is said to have been established in 1779.The distillery is owned by Morrison Bowmore Distillers Ltd, a holding company owned by Japanese drinks company Suntory.
