In the newly discovered cave on the picturesque shores of the Schliersee, at an altitude of 777 meters, this exquisite single malt whisky matured under exceptional conditions. Nestled in the impressive backdrop of the Bavarian Limestone Alps, the Schliersee not only offers a breathtaking landscape, but also the ideal microclimate for whisky maturation.

The cave, which was once forgotten, now serves as a storage facility for selected whisky barrels. With a constant humidity of 94% and an average temperature of 8 °C, this place creates optimal conditions for the development of complex aromas and flavors. This is where the magic of the SILD “Lost Cave” unfolds, which is available in a limited edition.

The color of this whisky is light gold, a sign of its noble ingredients and careful maturation. The aromatic opening captivates with the sweetness of cereal notes, which are harmoniously interwoven with fine nuances of honey blossoms, forest herbs and raisins. The aromas of rum barrels give the fragrance a special mildness and round off the olfactory experience.
